Material Planning and Operational Control Senior Planner

As the Senior Planner for the Israel site, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of material management within the company and at subcontractor sites. This includes work order planning, material simulations, and inventory level management. You will expedite, de-expedite, and cancel purchase orders as necessary, conduct KPI activity analysis, and collaborate with various departments including warehouse, purchasing, production, supply chain, import/export, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Management: Oversee material management processes both within the company and at subcontractor sites.
• Work Order Planning: Develop and manage work order plans to ensure efficient production schedules.
• Material Simulations: Conduct material simulations to predict and address potential supply chain issues.
• Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing costs.
• Order Management: Expedite, de-expedite, and cancel purchase orders as required to align with production needs.
• KPI Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational efficiency.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, production, supply chain, import/export, and finance departments to ensure seamless operations.
  
  

• Education: Industrial Engineer or Logistics professional with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• ERP Experience: Proficiency in working with ERP systems, with a preference for QAD/MFG.
• Expertise: Strong expertise in planning, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
• Process Knowledge: Familiarity with warehouse and engineering processes.
• Industry Experience: Experience in planning within hardware electronics companies.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel.
