Senior Planner

A rapidly growing and successful defense technology company is looking for a Senior Planner to join its Operations team.

This is a key role for an experienced planning professional looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced, growing environment, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week after the first three months.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end planning activities across supply, materials, inventory, and production
• Translate forecasts, sales trends, and business requirements into actionable operational plans
• Manage and optimize MRP and ERP-based planning processes
• Monitor inventory levels, material availability, open orders, and supply risks
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, logistics, warehouses, and internal stakeholders locally and globally
• Track production plans, shipment timelines, replenishment, and material availability
• Maintain and optimize planning parameters within the ERP system, including lead times, MOQ, safety stock, and reorder points
• Support forecasting, purchasing, inventory optimization, and supply planning processes
• Identify operational gaps, delays, risks, and bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions
• Develop and maintain planning reports, KPIs, and operational analyses
• Drive process improvements and support the development of scalable planning and operational processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and overall operational performance

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven experience with forecasting, supply planning, inventory, and logistics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent understanding of operational processes and supply chain dynamics
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; NetSuite is a strong advantage
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication skills
• High level of written and spoken English
