Software Engineering Manager

Located in central Israel, near a train line, the company offers a hybrid work model with three days of remote work. It has thousands of employees worldwide, including approximately 50 in its Israeli development center.

About the role-

• Reports to a Software Director based in the U.S.
• Direct management of a team of eight developers.
• Focus on Code Review, Design, and Architecture.
• Minimal hands-on development work.
• Team's tech stack includes Java, GCP, Microservices, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, SQL, and large-scale distributed systems.

Job Requirements:

Mandatory-

• Extensive experience in Java Backend development.
• Proven experience working on large-scale systems.
• Leadership experience managing teams of up to 20 developers.
• Background in a global organization with distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Advantage-

• Experience with SQL and distributed systems.
