Database Administrator

We are looking for an experienced MF DBA to join our talented team in a large financial company located in Central Israel.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and maintain DB2 databases in a z/OS environment, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security

-Write and optimize SQL queries, to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing

-Collaborate closely with other members of the DBA team to provide centralized database support across the organization

-Provide expertise in Cobol programming for database-related tasks and support development teams with integration and troubleshooting

-Monitor and troubleshoot DB2 performance issues, ensuring databases are running smoothly and resolving any performance bottlenecks

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a DBA with a focus on DB2 in a z/OS environment
• Proficiency in JCL, SQL, REXX, CICS, TSO, and z/OS
• Background working in a centralized DBA team, supporting a large-scale enterprise system
• Experience with Cobol programming in mainframe environments
