Senior Oracle Database Administrator

A leading enterprise is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our infrastructure team. The role involves installation, setup, operation, upgrading, performance tuning, optimization, backup, and recovery of SQL Server and Oracle databases across On-Premises and Cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage High Availability (HA), Replication, and Disaster Recovery (DR) mechanisms.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to development and application teams, including SQL queries tuning and optimization.
• Handle production incidents, troubleshoot issues, and monitor database performance across diverse environments.
• Perform environment duplications and configuration management.
• Lead infrastructure projects in the database domain.
• Participation in evening/night maintenance windows and mobility to isolated sites as required.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of proven hands-on experience as a DBA - MUST.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server - MUST.
• Experience working with GoldenGate – a strong advantage.
• Proven experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to reach isolated work sites.
