Backend Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Backend Team Leader to lead a team of skilled engineers responsible for powering critical services on a large scale. This role involves shaping technical direction, leading complex projects, and collaborating across teams to ensure a reliable and high-performing infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team, fostering professional growth and a collaborative culture. Promote best practices in coding, architecture, and project management.
• Drive innovation by overseeing the development of new features and improvements, ensuring systems are reliable and scalable.
• Ensure seamless production operations, including performance optimization, incident response, and continuous infrastructure improvement.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 2+ years of team management experience and 6+ years of hands-on project leadership, with a strong focus on backend technologies and system architecture.
• Proficiency in developing backend services using TypeScript/Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in designing large-scale, high-performance system architecture.
• Data-driven mindset with a focus on maximizing impact.
• Strong communication skills, a team player, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative, solution-oriented, with a ‘can do’ attitude. Adaptable to changing needs and efficient under pressure.
