We are searching for a hands-on, visionary Backend Team Leader to head our core development group. In this role, you will do more than manage tasks; you will drive technical excellence, shape our backend architecture, and foster a culture of high performance and innovation. The ideal candidate takes full ownership of architecture, is committed to advancing the organization rather than just overseeing processes, and is eager to champion our 'AI-First' engineering philosophy by utilizing the latest tools to accelerate development.

What you bring to the table

• Leadership Experience: 3+ years of proven experience directly leading a team of at least 3 backend developers - must.
• Passion for Leadership: A true driver mindset with a passion for mentoring people and moving the organization forward, moving beyond simple task implementation or scrum management - must.
• Backend Architecture Expertise: Strong, hands-on fluency in designing and scaling backend architectures for complex, data-heavy projects - must.
• Python Proficiency: Full proficiency and extensive hands-on experience in Python - must.
• Core Technical Foundation: 6+ years of overall development experience, with deep proficiency in OOP principles, clean code design, and test-driven development - must.
• Data & Messaging Infrastructure: Advanced database proficiency (MongoDB experience is a strong advantage) and solid experience working with message queues - must.
• Production Operations: Extensive experience working with live, high-scale production environments - must.
• AI Workflow Orchestration & Validation: Proficiency in designing and managing AI-assisted coding workflows, including the integration of specialized agents, skills, and custom development hooks. You possess a "trust but verify" mindset, leveraging advanced AI orchestration to accelerate engineering velocity while rigorously evaluating, refining, and troubleshooting generated logic to ensure it adheres to our clean code, security, and scalability standards.
• DevOps & Cloud: Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, and proficiency in AWS or overall DevOps practices - advantage.
