Technical Support Application Engineer - RF & Wireless

We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Application Engineer to join our team, focusing on providing post-sales customer support in the EMEAI region, with a strong emphasis on Israel. You will engage with customers, sales, and service representatives to solve technical questions and deliver expert support for our products and solutions

What you will do: Provide post-sales technical support to customers across EMEAI, with a focus on Israel, solving a wide range of technical challenges

Manage daily operations and workload expectations autonomously

Share technical expertise with the EMEAI team and create detailed technical articles for the customer knowledgebase

Collaborate closely with product, software, and solution centers to support global teams

Take proactive actions to address both current customer needs and anticipate potential future requirements

Develop into a Component Test and Wireless knowledge expert within the company

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific discipline

-4-5 years of relevant experience in Vector Network Analysis (VNA), Impedance Analysis, and DC Device Parameter Analysis

-Familiar with calibration techniques such as SOLT, TRL, and De-embedding in coaxial, waveguide, and on-wafer setups

-Experience testing both passive and active components, including filters, high power amplifiers, and mixers with VNAs

-Solid understanding of advanced VNA measurements beyond S-parameters, including gain compression, IMD, and Noise Figure

-Knowledgeable about modulation techniques and wireless technologies

Strong understanding of Signal Analyzer measurements beyond spectrum analysis, such as Phase Noise, EVM, EMI, Noise Figure, and Noise Floor

-Practical experience with RF/µW test equipment and a solid grasp of RF/µW fundamentals

-Experience in the generation, demodulation, and analysis of digital communication signals

Additional Skills: Advanced instrument programming skills with SCPI, C++, C#, VEE, LabView, Python, MATLAB® or VB (preferred)

Excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure

Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus

Strong communicator, able to interact effectively with customers and understand their needs
