What's Guardio?

Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime.

We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.

Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 80 people), on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our Growth team. We already have well over a million registered customers and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.

So, what's the job?

We are looking for a Controller to join Guardio's finance team.

You will:

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including all aspects of accounts payable (AP), including invoice processing, vendor relationships, and payment processing.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting, including a balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, and analyze financial results and trends.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards.
• Participate in the year-end closing process, including financial statement preparation, tax return, and external audit support, according to US GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and investors.
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Assist in Implementing and maintaining accounting software and tools.

Sounds great! Am I the right fit?

Well, our guess is you have a good chance of being that person if you check as many of these as possible:

• CPA with experience in a Big 4 accounting firm - a must.
• 2+ years post-internship experience in a tech company, preferably at a B2C high-growth company- a must.
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, etc,).
• Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills, strong attention to details and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent English - a must.
