Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Engineer located in Israel, Ashkelon.

The QA Engineer will be responsible for testing El Control products to ensure compliance with quality standards
and user requirements.
Daily tasks include developing test plans, executing test cases, and reporting bugs.
The QA Engineer will work closely with the development team to maintain product quality.

• QA Engineer, fostering a strong culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and quality.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end QA processes for hardware and software releases, ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Prioritize automation testing alongside manual testing to optimize QA cycles and enhance productivity.
• Own and coordinate all activities for system version releases and ensure readiness for deployment.
• Create, review, and execute detailed test plans covering software components, performing hands-on testing as needed.
• Oversee the preparation and execution of test cases for complex, multidisciplinary systems with an emphasis on control panels, sensors, communication protocols, and data analysis.
• Monitor and report on the status of testing activities, providing issue reports, conducting bug-tracking meetings, and preparing quality summaries for stakeholders.
• Organize and conduct Beta testing at customer sites, with a focus on hardware reliability and system compatibility.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing automation infrastructure- required
• Experience in testing WEB applications - required
• Proven experience in Python/Typescript and the any automation framework - required
• Computer Science or other related field – advantage.
• Demonstrated expertise in testing servers, databases, and large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, along with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) - advantage.
• Commitment to driving continuous improvement, quality excellence
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a commitment to clear communication and documentation.
• Knowledge and experience in CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Jenkins - advantage
