Quality Assurance Automation Lead

Location: Herzliya

Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days from the office

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SW QA Automation and Validation Team Leader to join our software department and contribute to the development of next-generation state-of-the-art AI and wireless platforms. The role involves leading a team responsible for designing validation environments and implementing advanced automation methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead automation activities required for product release to customers.
• Mentor and coach engineers on automation test design, procedures, and methodologies.
• Review specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create comprehensive product test plans and manage test execution.
• Oversee the design and development of new automated tests for features and products.
• Consistently review, analyze, improve, and maintain test automation infrastructures and reports.
• Collaborate closely with architects, development teams, other validation teams, and business units.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience leading QA and automation teams.
• Previous experience in large or medium-sized organizations.
• Formal and practical knowledge of testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test writing and automation (C++, C, Python).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Advantage: Experience with simulators, compilers, processors, and AI-related product validation.
