Role

The Director of AI leads research and development in advanced machine learning and AI technologies. This role is responsible for driving innovation, managing technical teams and managers, and delivering AI-driven solutions for a variety of specialized applications.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Oversee multiple teams, including managing team leads and other managers. Set strategic objectives, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with company goals.
• Product Development: Oversee the design and deployment of AI algorithms for use across cloud and edge platforms, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement.
• Talent Development: Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture by building and mentoring a strong team of professionals, including senior team members and managers.
• Strategic Guidance: Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders and customers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical infrastructure with business needs and market demands.

Requirements

• Education: Advanced degree, preferably PhD, in a relevant field such as Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science. - MUST
• Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years leading technical R&D teams, including experience managing managers. - MUST
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in PyTorch, transformer models, deep learning for audio signal processing, and digital signal processing.
• Proven delivery Record: Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions to large-scale customers.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills, with a focus on results-driven collaboration.
