Data Engineer

A high-tech company has developed a platform for monitoring and measuring online media to prevent inappropriate activities, such as detecting fake news, controversial content, and digital fraud.

The company aims to make the online world safer and more transparent for major global brands. By using its platform, the company believes it is not only serving brands but also helping to make the digital world a slightly safer place.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near the train station, and operates with a hybrid work model (2 days from home). With over 1,000 employees globally, around 130 of them are based in Israel.

Role Overview-

The role combines Backend development and Data Engineering. You will be part of the Authentic Attention team, which includes 5 developers and a team leader. The position is split 50/50 between Backend development in Python and Scala and Data Engineering tasks.

Tech Stack-

• Python, Scala, SQL
• ETL, Spark
• GCP

Requirements-

• 4 years in Software Development
• 3 years experience coding in Python\Java\C#\Scala and a like
• 3 years experience working with relational databases
• 2 years of experience building ETLs or ELTs
• Good analytical skills and well versed with SQL
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for development with high quality and a sharp mind
• Experience maintaining business-critical production systems
