Engineering Manager

AVT is a high-tech company located in Kfar Saba that develops and manufactures automatic quality control systems for the printing industry.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager for a full-time position to join a successful team with a great atmosphere and global activities.

The position offered is within the company's Operation department as the Manager of the Engineering team.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Manage and lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers working on multidisciplinary systems, provide guidance and support in their daily tasks, and performance management.
• Manage and control all ongoing engineering activities.
• Oversee our company’s products' development, NPI, and production, ensuring that all processes meet industry standards and best practices.
• Manage and oversee projects from design concept to production.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures to improve our products' efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Manufacturing, R&D, Supply chain, Quality, and Service, to ensure that all aspects of the product development and production processes are aligned and optimized.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring all product components meet our quality and performance standards.
• Ongoing budget analysis, monitoring and control.
• Responsible for the personal development of the team.
• Strong English communication skills
  
  

What are the requirements?

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanic / electrical / electronic Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on multidisciplinary systems, NPI, and production.
• Strong technical background.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with industry CE standards and best practices for product development, NPI, and production.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with colleagues from different backgrounds and disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical and operational issues.
