Frontend Software Engineer

Overview

At xpander.ai, we are building a platform that enables developers to create, test, and deploy custom AI Agents capable of performing multi-step actions with any AI model that supports function calling. As an Front-End Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, and maintaining the user interface that powers this platform.

About the role

This is a hands-on role that combines front-end engineering with the opportunity to develop other parts of the product. Our stack includes Node.js, Supabase, and Flowchart 2.0. The UI serves as the human interface for interacting with our proprietary AI agents (AI Agent Builder), and your role will be to define how frontend elements are implemented. You will work closely with Product Management and UI/UX team responsible for developing Figma wireframes, and it is expected that you will actively influence the process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, responsive UIs using React and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain custom hooks and reusable components to streamline development and ensure consistency across the platform.
• Optimize the front-end for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end development.
• Proven expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with building and maintaining custom hooks and modern React patterns.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and development best practices.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with high scale chat-based web components
• Experience with complex drag-and-drop user-interfaces
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Supabase
