Restaurant Manager

Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the resort.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of food and beverage outlet on a daily basis and coordinate special events.
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
• Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of the food and beverage outlet.
• Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
• Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain procedures to ensure the security and proper storage of restaurant inventory, and equipment, the security of monies, credit and financial transactions.
• Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
• Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll
• Set outlet targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
• Accountable for monthly stock takes
• Incentivise hosts to maximize sales and revenue
• Recruit, manage, train and develop the team
• Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
• Ensure compliance of brand standards

What are we looking for?

• Management and/or supervisory Food and Beverage experience
• Fluent in English and Hebrew (Mandatory)
• Experience in the hotel industry
• Leadership and management skills
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Ability to comply with all Food and Beverage brand standards
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

The position is located in Shahrut, Arava dessert
