Team8- Accounting Assistant (Student Position)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented accounting student to support our finance department. This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting processes while supporting various critical functions in Team8.

• Monthly Operations: Assist in monthly closings and conduct monthly collection processes.
• Cash Flow Updates: Updating and managing the company’s cash flow file.
• Fund Charges Management: Oversee fund charges, track funds’ vendor invoices, and support fund billing processes.
• Sponsorship Coordination: Track event sponsorships, issue invoices, and collaborate with the marketing team to finalize contracts and invoices.
• Audit & Reconciliation: Support ad-hoc tasks, including preparing audit-related materials and reconciling with funds.
• Vendor Communication: Liaise with vendors to manage financial details and ensure seamless collaboration.
  
  

• First- or second-year accounting student - MUST!
• Availability for a total of two workdays per week (can be split across multiple shorter days).
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting tools (preferred).
• Team player with strong communication skills.
