Finance Assistant-Student Position

WINT’s IoT hardware and software water-management solution serves the real-estate and industrial sectors. The devices – installed in buildings like the Empire State Building and on construction sites – monitor usage patterns and use Machine Learning, signal processing and statistical analysis to detect anomalies and prevent leaks by automatically shutting off water. Our customer prevents massive damage to facilities (which could reach millions of dollars per incident) and save 20%-25% of their ongoing water consumption.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a highly motivated, team player with strong interpersonal skills, independence and problem-solving individual to join our finance team and take a significant role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process
• Collect and organize financial data from internal teams, banks, and external sources
• Prepare account reconciliations.
• Review financial records to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in the right period
• Verify account balances and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare accrual and prepaid expense schedules
• Support the monthly revenue recognition process, including preparation of revenue schedules
• Prepare and maintain deferred revenue schedules and reconcile balances to the general ledger
• Track and follow up on open items until they are resolved

Required Skills and Experience:

• Accounting student who has completed their second year of studies and is entering their third year
• GPA of 80 and above
• Available for 15-20 hours a week
• Strong orientation towards systems
