Windows Installer Developer

abra R&D is seeking a Windows Installer Developer.

As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications, focusing on installer. You will work closely with senior developers and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. Experience with installer deveIopment and WiX Toolset is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Contribute to the development of installation packages using WiX Toolset (advantageous).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with installer development and deployment.
• Knowledge of WiX Toolset for creating Windows installation packages.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices.
