QA Engineer – Automation and Testing

What You’ll Do-

1. Test & Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for mobile, web, and API layers.
2. Automation with Playwright: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, ensuring continuous test coverage and quick feedback loops.
3. Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases when necessary, focusing on edge cases, exploratory testing, and usability.
4. Defect Tracking: Identify, report, track, and verify defects in a clear and reproducible manner.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with development and product teams to understand features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
6. Quality Metrics & Documentation: Maintain test reports, track QA metrics (defect density, pass/fail rates), and contribute to best practices in testing methodology.

What We’re Looking For-

1. Professional Experience:
2. 2+ years of experience in QA or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, performance, etc.)
4. Playwright Expertise:
5. Hands-on experience using Playwright (or similar automation frameworks) to create and maintain automated test suites.
6. Technical Skills:
7. Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for writing automation tests.
8. Experience with RESTful APIs.
9. PHP knowledge is an advantage.
10. Analytical Mindset:
11. Ability to identify test scenarios, create test plans, and troubleshoot complex issues.
12. Excellent Communication:
13. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hebrew.
14. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
