Senior QA Automation Engineer

Senior QA Automation Engineer | AI | Leading Healthcare Organization | Central Israel

A leading healthcare organization is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a technology team developing large-scale AI Agent solutions used across complex digital environments.

This is a hands-on QA role combining automation, Python development, API testing, system and integration testing, and validation of AI Agent behavior.

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute testing activities based on functional and technical specifications
• Develop and execute automated tests using Python
• Test AI Agents, APIs, and complex client-server environments
• Perform system, integration, end-to-end, and cross-system testing
• Validate AI Agent behavior across different scenarios and workflows
• Ensure test data and testing environments are available and ready for execution
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger
• Investigate failures, analyze logs, and identify root causes
• Document test scenarios, results, defects, and findings in test management tools
• Collaborate closely with Development, Data, AI, and other technology teams
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes based on findings and lessons learned

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering – required
• At least 3 years of experience in QA Automation, testing Web Client & Server environments or AI Agents – required
• At least 1 year of hands-on Python development experience – required
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and different testing levels – required
• Experience writing test plans and test scenarios, managing defects, and investigating logs – required
• Proven experience with API testing, including Postman and/or Swagger
• Experience working with databases and AI tools
• Strong technical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to independently understand and investigate complex technical processes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and systems simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Advantage

Experience working with technologies such as HDFS, Hive, Spark, Kafka, and SQL.
