Research scientist - biochemist

For a challenging research project in a young and dynamic company in the field of alternative proteins an outstanding researcher is required

The successful candidate will have: 

·      Deep understanding of proteins biochemistry

·      Broad knowledge in protein isolation methods (preferentially native, non- recombinant proteins, mammalian cells systems)

·      Experience in protein analytical methods (e.g., SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Colorimetric assays)

·      Experience in tissue culture work

·      Ability to develop and troubleshoot new techniques.

·      Ability to design and execute experiments and analyze experiments results.

·      High communication skills, ability to work as part of a research team.

·      Creative and critical thinking 

·      Ability to work according to plans and protocol.

The position includes experiment design, extensive hands-on work in the R&D lab, results analysis and presentation.

Requirements

·      PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, life sciences or related fields, preferably from a leading scientific institution. Industry experience is required. 

·      MSc candidates with extensive industry experience will also be considered.

·      Demonstrated experience in protein isolation methods, protein analysis methods (SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Colorimetric assays) and tissue culture work.

·      Excellent interpersonal abilities, team player and highly driven with multitasking skills.
