Product Manager

A startup in the AI field has developed advanced technologies for analyzing data based on satellite imagery. These satellites actively transmit signals to Earth from space, capture their return, and reconstruct highly accurate images.

Unlike optical cameras, the long wavelengths of these signals allow operation in darkness, through clouds, fog, smoke, and other interferences, ensuring continuous monitoring 24/7, even during the night.

All data is stored in the cloud, providing predictions and alerts to clients via dedicated applications that drive action and mitigate risks. The company currently monitors 50% of the agricultural land in the U.S., covering millions of acres!

This is a stable and profitable company with paying clients, including energy companies, agricultural insurance firms, and utility providers.

Located in Tel Aviv, near the light rail, the company has around 30 employees globally, 20 of whom are in Israel (with others in the U.S. and U.K.).

Responsibilities:

● Lead Product Strategy: Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for web applications

that integrate mapping, GIS, and remote sensing technologies.

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and data science teams

to deliver products that meet customer needs, balancing technical capabilities with business

goals.

● UX/UI: Ensure user experience/interface principles are integrated into the product design,

creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered web applications.

● Feature Development: Translate market needs and customer feedback into detailed product

requirements, and prioritize features for development.

● Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of product milestones by managing timelines,

resources, and dependencies across teams.

● Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback,

demonstrate product capabilities and refine product development.

● Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize the

user experience for GIS and remote sensing applications.

● Market Insights: Stay updated on the latest trends in mapping, GIS, and remote sensing

technologies, ensuring our products are competitive and innovative.

Requirements-

● Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent

experience).

● Proven Experience (at least 3 years) in product management, preferably within web app

development, mapping, GIS, or remote sensing industries.

● Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with web technologies such as front-end and back-end

development frameworks (e.g. React, Node.js), and databases familiarity.

● Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical requirements to engineering

teams and present product vision to stakeholders.

● Agile Methodologies: Experience in leading Agile development teams and managing product

backlogs.
