Quality Assurance Engineer

A startup in the Digital Health field aiming to change the way people hear and see the world. The company offers a solution for 75% of the U.S. population who wear glasses and also need a hearing aid. They have developed unique eyewear that integrates a hearing aid into the frame in an elegant way. The glasses are intended for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss.

The company was acquired in 2023 by a major eyewear company and operates as its technological arm. It has very stable financial backing and collaborates worldwide with clinical researchers and scientists. The company is at a critical stage in product development, preparing for a launch in 2025.

The company is located in Tel Aviv and employs 35 people.

The role is for a Manual QA position, involving hardware and software testing for consumer electronics (Mobile), within a Windows environment, as part of a team.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience as a QA engineer in a tech company
• Proven track record in testing consumer electronics ecosystems, including hardware, firmware and mobile app
• Vast knowledge of QA methodologies, techniques and approaches
• Strong understanding of how systems work, with emphasis on SW-HW integration
• Excellent human relations and high integrity
• Experience in writing high level documentation and tests plans
• Highly independent, proactive and with the ability to self-learn
• Analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving skills
