What's Guardio?
Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions to consumers and SMBs. Our goal is to protect real people and small businesses from cyber problems and crime. We help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.
Guardio is a relatively small company (80 people) on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our Customer Experience team. We already have well over a million registered customers and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.
The Customer Support Representative will be a trusted advisor to Guardio’s customers, providing tailored guidance and proactive support to ensure they maximize the value of their subscription. You’ll assist with onboarding and issue resolution and empower users to fully utilize Guardio’s features, driving retention and fostering loyalty through exceptional service.
This role is key to improving customer retention by ensuring users feel supported, understood, and confident in their Guardio journey.
You will:
- Act as a dedicated expert for Guardio users, providing assistance via phone and email on account setup, subscription management, general inquiries, and basic security guidance to help users keep their digital life secure.
- Approach every interaction with empathy and patience, ensuring users feel supported, valued, and understood.
- Simplify technical concepts and explain solutions in clear, user-friendly language, adapting to our users’ varying technical skills.
- Increase user satisfaction by delivering a personalized experience that highlights the value of Guardio’s services and fosters customer loyalty.
You’ll succeed in this role if you:
- Have native-level English, both spoken and written, and comfortable talking to users over the phone.
- Customer-oriented, empathetic, proactive in solving problems, and motivated to deliver exceptional service.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with tools like Google Sheets.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and implement changes quickly.
- Fluent in technology usage - installing apps, understanding how subscriptions work, and navigating system settings. No previous experience in cyber security is required.
- Available to work at least 3 evening shifts per week
