Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and creative Technical Writer to join our Product Team. This role goes beyond traditional documentation—you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to produce a variety of educational content, including user guides, API documentation, tutorials, videos, and other assets that drive customer success and product adoption.

As a key player in our team, you will not only help customers effectively utilize Cycode’s solutions but also craft educational materials that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences, helping bridge the gap between complex concepts and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and technical tutorials.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible materials tailored for developers, security teams, and other target audiences.
• Produce multimedia content (e.g., screen recordings, animations, demos) to complement written materials.
• Identify opportunities to automate documentation workflows, including API-driven content generation, version management, and integration with developer tools.
• Establish and refine documentation standards and templates to maintain consistency across all materials.
• Deliver documentation on time, aligned with product release cycles, and optimized for usability.
• Support internal teams by creating training materials and technical resources as needed.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a software or cybersecurity-focused company.
• Strong understanding of developer tools, APIs, and application security concepts.
• Familiarity with automation tools and techniques to streamline documentation creation and updates.
• Hands-on experience with Markdown, HTML, and documentation platforms such as Confluence, Document360, or ReadMe.io.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira.
• Experience using video creation tools, such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset, keen attention to detail, and a passion for creating user-centric, engaging content.
