We’re looking for R&D Director to lead our R&D group.
What will you do?
- Lead and mange R&D teams in an agile, dynamic environment.
- Own the group strategy, processes, quality and deliveries.
- Lead complex projects that require a high level of technical skills.
- Build and manage the group sprints.
- Lead and mentor development teams, each plays a key role in planning and executing our product roadmap.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, challenges and find the solutions.
- Recruit, hire and manage top talent engineers to build strong R&D group, ensuring the right skills and expertise are in place.
- Set goals (OKRs) aligned by the company strategy.
- Define the R&D teams’ growth plan and strategy, provide design and architecture leadership.
- Be the enabler and booster of the company’s growth and scalability, your contribution will have a great impact on the company’s business.
- You will have the privilege to manage top talents and grow the development teams.
- Reporting directly to VP R&D.
What should you have?
- 10 years of experience in Software Engineering roles.
- At least 3 years experience managing managers.
- Experience working for Start-Up SaaS companies .
- Proven leadership, communication, collaboration and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and cross-functional problem-solving capabilities.
- Hands-on experience and deep understanding in Back End Software Technologies including: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Kubernetes, RESTful API design, GCP/AWS Cloud, RDBMS, NO SQL databases such as MongoDB/PostgreSQL, ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ, Kafka, ELK.
- Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovation.
- Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – both in Hebrew and English.
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience.
