Backend Team Leader

Who We Are:

OriginAI, is a large AI research center that was established to address challenges at the forefront of AI research at national scale. The research is focused in the areas of Vision, Speech and NLP with the aim of producing world-class groundbreaking capabilities in these areas.

We work in hybrid mode and our new offices are located near Tel-Aviv’s Savidor train station.

Job Description

You will develop complex, time critical products based on the AI technology produced inside OriginAI from the design stage to deployment. You will produce code by the best coding standards, fully tested, containerized, and integrated into CI\CD cycles. To succeed in your job, you will need to be a great Team Leader, mastering Python and Microservices, setting the development standards and routines. You and your team will oversee the end-to-end modules from the design phase to the production rollout.

Technology Stack: Python (Pytorch, Tensorflow, Pydantic, FastAPI, PyTest), NVIDIA Triton,

Docker, Microservices Architecture, Elastic Search, MongoDB

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and daily manage your team members
• Establish and manage the development routine, being accountable for the deliverables end-to-end
• Collaborate with Researchers and other Tech Leaders

Requirements:

• 3+years leading a team of (at least 4) back-end developers
• At least 5 years experience in Python development of Microservices based products

Vast experience with implementation of tests (Unit, Integration, End-To-End)

At least 3 years’ experience working with Dockers

Experience with Flask \ DJango \ FastAPI

Experience with Document & Vector DBs

Experience with budling application pipelines RabbitMQ \ Kafka

• Having a great understanding of the CI\CD process
• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any related degree
• Advantage:

Proficiency in ML evaluation metrics (Precision, Recall, F1 Score, etc).

Experience with training, testing, deployment, and monitoring real-time (or near real-time)

machine learning models in production.
