Senior GRC Consultant at Datafence

As Datafence continues to expand its footprint in the data security landscape, we're seeking an experienced GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Consultant to strengthen our and our customer's security and compliance capabilities. We need someone who can drive our compliance initiatives and help our clients navigate the complex world of information security standards.

We're looking for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in GRC frameworks who can translate complex security requirements into actionable plans. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with exceptional communication skills, serving as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients.

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive GRC strategies aligned with industry best practices
• Drive compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and additional
• Guide Datafence's customers in their cyber compliance journey
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Oversee third-party risk management and vendor assessment programs
• Manage and respond to client security questionnaires and audit requirements
• Design and deliver security awareness training programs
• Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation meets compliance requirements
• Provide expert guidance on emerging regulations and security standards
• Build strong relationships with customer's stakeholders across IT, Legal, and Operations teams
  

• 5+ years of experience in GRC, Information Security, or Risk Management roles
• Proven track record managing compliance programs in SaaS environments
• Deep understanding of major security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST)
• Experience conducting enterprise-wide risk assessments
• Strong background in third-party risk management
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CRISC
• Experience with cloud security architectures and controls

• Experience with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (CSA, CIS)
• Background in security architecture or engineering
• Experience in a consulting role or professional services environment
• Additional certifications (CISO, CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor)
