Full Stack Team Lead

We are looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Team Lead to join our growing engineering team and lead a group of skilled developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both backend and frontend development, leadership experience, and a passion for mentoring and driving a team towards success. As a Full Stack Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding your team in delivering high-quality software solutions, aligning with product goals, and ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of our platform.

What will you do?

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define technical requirements and architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of features and services, with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Drive the implementation of technical best practices, including code reviews, testing strategies, and documentation.
• Manage technical debt and ensure continuous improvement in code quality, development processes, and system architecture.
• Act as a hands-on contributor, participating in coding tasks to support your team.
• Maintain and optimize production systems, ensuring high availability and uptime.
• Build and communicate a clear roadmap for your team, ensuring delivery on time and to high standards.
• Champion collaboration across teams, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-functional problem solving.

What will you need?

• 7+ years of hands-on development experience with a focus on fullstack development.
• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, with a proven track record of delivering scalable backend solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in leading development teams, including mentoring, performance management, and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular, with an advantage for experience in both.
• Deep understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery is a significant advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering customer value through technical excellence.
• Experience with commerce platform integrations (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) is a plus.
• Familiarity with maintaining production systems, including high availability and uptime.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
