System Validation Engineer

The role includes:

• Functional tests of Ethernet, switching, and routing features.
• Integration tests for new systems (functional tests, stability tests, regression tests, and performance tests).
• Testing Edge, NIC, and IoT management systems.
• Writing and executing manual and automated tests for L2/L3.
• Problem reporting and verification of problem resolution.
• Working closely with R&D and architecture teams to drive bug fixes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python – Must.
• Good knowledge of Linux – Must.
• Adept at documentation practices.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Communication Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a QA network engineer.
• Deep knowledge of Ethernet protocols, especially L2/L3.
• Experience with software management systems.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet switches (Cisco/Arista), L2/L3 switching and routing.
• Experience with IXIA/Spirent traffic generators.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment (oscilloscope, multimeters, etc.) – Advantage.
• 2+ years of experience in experiment design and execution (focusing on safety and statistical validity of results) –Advantage.
• Experience interfacing with devices using SPI, I2C, and GPIO protocols – Advantage.
