Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

A leading technology company in the Sharon area is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the entire mechanical manufacturing process – from design to production planning.
• Development of electronic packaging and electromechanical solutions for ruggedized systems.
• Design of complex assemblies.
• Thermal design.
• Collaboration with electronics engineers and PCB designers.
• Design of testing equipment and related components.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
• Six or more years of experience in electronic enclosures – mandatory.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes such as CNC, disassembly, cutting, flange forming, etc. – mandatory.
• Experience in mechanical design of PCBs and selection of electromechanical raw materials.
• Knowledge and experience with military and aviation standards such as MIL-STD-810 and RTCA/DO-160 – an advantage.
• Background in power supply design – an advantage.
• Experience in thermal and strength analysis – an advantage.
• Understanding of electromechanical components.
