Frontend Automation Engineer

A leading company is looking for a Frontend Automation Engineer to join its growing team. This role involves ensuring the highest level of quality in frontend systems by creating and implementing test strategies, increasing test coverage, and driving quality awareness within the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing, with a strong understanding of frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for quality and testing within the team or squad.
• Develop and implement test strategies for new features and conduct test reviews with the team.
• Ensure team participation in testing and work to increase coverage of unit tests, component tests, and integration tests.
• Execute end-to-end (E2E) tests, both manually and through automation when necessary.
  
  

• At least 4 years of experience in manual testing with a strong focus on quality processes.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation development.
• Proficiency in creating testing strategies, test design documents (STD), and test plans (STP) (required).
• Strong knowledge of Selenium (required).
• Proficiency in .NET C# (required).
• Solid understanding of complex backend architecture in SaaS web applications.
• Experience with API testing tools like POSTMAN or similar.
• Strong understanding of REST API automation scripting.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Thorough understanding of software testing theory and methodologies.
• Broad system-level perspective and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of NUnit testing framework.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
