Custom clearance manager

Job description:

1. Israel Customs Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of customs regulations, including import procedures, tariffs, and documentation requirements.

2. Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track the status of incoming and outgoing courier shipments, particularly in relation to customs clearance. Ensure real-time visibility and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.

3. Customs Documentation: Prepare, review, and verify shipping documentation to ensure compliance with Israel customs requirements. Facilitate the smooth clearance of shipments through Israel customs authorities.

4. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the logistics of shipments bound for or originating from Israel, including transportation, warehousing, and delivery. Optimize routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times while adhering to customs guidelines.

5. Relationship: Build and maintain relationships with courier service providers, carriers, and local suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and resolve any shipment-related issues.

Job requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.

2.Proficiency in using logistics and tracking software.

3.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

4.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
