Senior Data Analyst

A financial services company is seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to provide insights into user behavior on websites and apps. The role involves analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), building and maintaining dashboards, designing and analyzing split tests, and collaborating with business stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• User Behavior Analysis:
• Analyze user behavior across websites and apps.
• Build and maintain dashboards to visualize feature usage and its impact on company KPIs.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to answer questions about site usage and user behavior.
• KPI Tracking and Reporting:
• Monitor and analyze high-level KPIs, including conversion, retention, churn, engagement, cross-device usage, and more.
• Communicate analysis results to business stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations.
• Data Flow Management:
• Define KPIs and data collection requirements for development teams.
• Build and iterate dashboards offering both high-level and detailed views of collected data.
• Split Test Management:
• Design tests with clear success criteria.
• Monitor test integrity and analyze results using segmentation and cohort analysis.
• Provide recommendations based on test outcomes.
• Exploratory Analysis:
• Conduct analyses to identify trends and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  

• At least 4 years of experience as a data analyst for B2C websites.
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex and efficient analytical queries.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders, understanding their needs, and explaining results clearly.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Understanding of website development and operations, and how these relate to data collection.

• Background in report writing, technical requirements analysis, business process modeling, and data modeling.
