Job Overview:

Redis Database Expert for Troubleshooting and Architecture (part-time).

We are seeking an experienced Redis Database Expert to join our team on a freelance basis for a troubleshooting and architecture-focused project. This is a part-time, project-based role designed to provide targeted expertise in resolving issues and enhancing our Redis database architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze and troubleshoot Redis database issues, including performance bottlenecks, latency, and data inconsistencies.

·  Design and optimize Redis architecture for high availability, scalability, and efficient memory utilization.

· Provide recommendations and implement improvements to ensure the stability and reliability of Redis in production environments.

· Collaborate with developers and operations teams to integrate Redis effectively into the broader system architecture.

·  Conduct audits of existing Redis setups and suggest enhancements aligned with industry best practices.

·  Document solutions and provide guidance for long-term maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

·  Deep knowledge of Redis, including architecture, configuration, clustering, replication, and persistence strategies.

·  Proven experience in troubleshooting Redis-related issues in live environments.

·  Familiarity with Redis performance tuning, including memory optimization and command profiling.

·  Strong understanding of high availability setups, including Redis Sentinel and Redis Cluster.

·  Experience with cloud-based Redis services (e.g., AWS ElastiCache, Azure Cache for Redis, Google Memorystore).

·  Ability to work independently and deliver results efficiently in a freelance capacity.

·  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience with advanced Redis features like Streams, Pub/Sub, or custom modules.

·  Familiarity with Redis Enterprise and associated tools.

·  Knowledge of integration with other database systems or caching layers.

·  Understanding of security practices for Redis deployments.
