QA Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans that outline the testing strategy, objectives, scope, and resources required. This includes identifying testing scenarios, defining test cases, and establishing criteria for evaluating software performance.
2. Test Case Design and Execution: Create detailed test cases based on software specifications, requirements, and user stories. Execute test cases to verify that the software functions as intended, identifying defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
3. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and issues.
4. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
5. Performance Testing: Evaluate software performance by conducting load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing.
6. Collaboration with Development Teams
7. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of software development processes by providing feedback on areas for enhancement.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and other QA-related artifacts
9. Compliance and Standards: Ensure that software products adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality assurance policies.
10. Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to other team members.

Required Qualifications:

1. Programming or Software Technician background, or equivalent experience.
2. 2+ years of QA experience, preferably in medical devices.
3. Experience with test automation frameworks.
4. Familiarity with programming languages and scripting.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
7. Analytical mindset with a proactive attitude.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
