Data Engineer

About The Position

Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support business needs.

ETL Processes: Implement and optimize complex ETL processes to ingest data from multiple sources, including vendor market data, client market data, and external/internal APIs.

Data Knowledge: Work closely with data scientists and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.

Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and quality through validation, testing, and best practices.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Python Experience: 3+ years of experience in Python for data process development.

ETL Experience: 3+ years of experience in ETL development and querying data warehouses to support applications that are used by external clients.

DB Experience: 2+ years of experience working with databases, such as MySQL.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with Linux environments.

Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.

Analytical Databases: Familiarity with analytical databases like ClickHouse and/or Snowflake.

Pipeline Tools: Experience with pipeline tools such as River, Dagger, Airbyte, or Airflow.

Domain Knowledge: Understanding of fixed-income data is a plus.
