Position Overview
Gymdesk is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to drive revenue growth by converting a mix of inbound Product-Led Growth (PLG) leads, Marketing-Qualified Leads (MQLs), and Sales-Qualified Leads (SQLs) into delighted customers. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and Business Development, you’ll play a vital role in engaging potential customers, managing the sales cycle, and exceeding your targets. This is a perfect opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level sales professional eager to make a significant impact in the fast-growing SaaS space.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Conversion:
• Engage and convert a diverse mix of inbound PLG leads, MQLs, and SQLs, ensuring a tailored sales approach.
• Maintain a high conversion rate by understanding lead sources and leveraging data to prioritize efforts effectively.
2. Sales Execution:
• Own the sales cycle, from first contact to close, with a focus on consultative selling and addressing customer pain points.
• Deliver impactful product demonstrations that align with the specific needs of gyms, studios, and fitness businesses.
3. Lead Qualification:
• Collaborate with marketing to understand MQL intent and readiness.
• Work closely with SDRs/BDRs to ensure SQLs are properly qualified and nurtured before engagement.
4. Pipeline Management:
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using Hubspot CRM to track progress, forecast accurately, and hit monthly quotas.
• Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.
5. Customer Focus:
• Develop meaningful relationships with decision-makers, serving as a trusted advisor to help them achieve their business goals.
• Address objections with confidence and guide prospects toward the best solutions Gymdesk offers.
6. Collaboration & Feedback:
• Partner with marketing to optimize MQL flow and campaigns.
• Share insights and feedback with the product and customer success teams to enhance Gymdesk’s offerings.
7. Continuous Learning:
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and Gymdesk’s product value proposition to refine your approach.
What We’re Looking For:
• 3+ years of sales experience in SaaS, tech, or a related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong understanding of lead qualification processes (PLG, MQLs, SQLs).
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-driven mindset.
• Proficiency with CRM tools like Hubspot is preferred.
