Senior Product Manager

Sola Security is a rapidly growing cybersecurity startup still in stealth mode. We are dedicated to transforming how organizations approach and do security. Our mission is to democratize cybersecurity.

We are expanding our Product team and seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to join us as our second PM. In this crucial role, you will work closely with our VP Product and existing product manager to drive the development and enhancement of our core platform. This is a unique opportunity to shape a product that aims to redefine the cybersecurity landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Leadership: Take ownership of key product initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring they align with our overall vision and meet user needs.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute product strategies that drive user engagement and support business growth.
• User Experience: Champion the needs of our users by creating intuitive and effective solutions that allow our users to simplify their complex cybersecurity challenges.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and cybersecurity Innovation teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
• Innovation: Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies, such as AI and automation, to enhance platform capabilities.
• Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging threats to inform product decisions.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and user feedback to make informed decisions, measure adoption success and impact, and iterate on product features.
• Communication: Clearly articulate product vision, progress, and updates to internal stakeholders and, when appropriate, external partners.
  
  

• Experience: 4+ years of product management experience, preferably within the cybersecurity industry or related fields.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of product development processes and engineering foundation, with the ability to work closely with technical teams.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability to crystallize and broadly socialize insights into stakeholder needs. Comfortable communicating with executives, managers, and individual contributors across design, technology, marketing, sales, operations, and finance.
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, personas, and practices - a significant advantage.
• AI Familiarity: Experience with integrating AI technologies into product offerings. Understanding the capabilities and limitations of Gen AI technologies, envisioning how they can enhance or transform existing products, and identifying new opportunities for innovation - a plus.
• UX Skills: Strong design sensibility and UX instincts.
