Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Software Development to lead and inspire a team of talented engineers dedicated to developing cutting-edge software solutions. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and end-to-end communication applications.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive software development strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee the technical direction and architecture of complex software systems.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of experienced team leaders responsible for managing and guiding their respective development teams.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent to strengthen the organization.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team leaders.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment across all teams.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple software development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks proactively.
• Technical Expertise:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development, cloud computing, and communication systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development teams.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
• Quality Assurance:
• Establish and maintain rigorous quality standards and processes.
• Implement robust testing and quality assurance practices.
• Ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with1 at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading successful software development projects and teams.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and edge technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, DevOps).
• Experience with end-to-end communication applications (e.g., VoIP, messaging, video conferencing).
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
