Role Description

We are looking for an experienced SW Director

You will report to the Sr. Director of Software Devices

Location

Hybrid - working at least 3 days a week from our offices in Caesarea

What You Will Be Doing

Lead an engineering group composed of 5-8 scrum teams, developing the SW for our networking HW products as well as the SW for the production test system of these HW products.

We are looking for a true leader with great communication skills, which will uphold a high technical bar, and will be responsible to inspire the team members to achieve their optimum performance and career development.

This Role Requires

• Collaboration with stakeholders across the organization such as Product Management, PMO, HW development team, Production engineering team and more.
• High technical competency, ability to initiate and drive all SW development life cycle from planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and integration and maintenance of deployed systems.
• Working in an agile environment, with a goal to build high quality products at a fast pace, driving engineering excellence through constant improvement in processes, tools, and practices.
• Leading a technical discussion, together with our product team, with our customers and partners.
• Keeping our team members challenged and engaged.
  
  

What You Should Have

• Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Software engineering and at least 5 years of experience leading multiple development groups through Software development.
• Experience developing SW for custom HW systems.
• Proven experience in Software development methodologies, principles, procedures, software management, and support tools and services.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodology.
• Experience with Linux.
