QA & Live Event Technology Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Live Event Technology Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, real-time problem-solving, exceptional communication skills, and a strong focus on software quality assurance. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless performance of our AR software during live sports events, providing on-site and remote support to operators, maintaining the highest standards of quality for global broadcasts, and working closely with the R&D team to test and improve the system.

Responsibilities:

• Test the system for smooth functional performance, gain deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience and work closely with the R&D team to address any software issues.
• Ensure the software and hardware systems are correctly installed, configured, and optimized for live events.
• Monitor system performance in real-time, identifying and resolving any issues to maintain broadcast quality.
• Guide and support operators during live events, ensuring successful deployment and operation of the system.
• Remote operation of the system as needed to ensure the success of live events.
• Handle multiple concurrent games, managing time and resources effectively under pressure.
• Report feedback and defects from live events to the R&D team to ensure continuous improvement of the system.
• Be available to work during unusual hours, including nights and weekends, to support live events across different time zones.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a technical role, preferably supporting live events such as sports broadcasting.
• Advantage for Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of both software and hardware systems.
• Excellent technical capabilities and self-starter / learner approach, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work during non-standard hours as required.
