SecOps Research Specialist

About the Role:

As a SecOps Research Expert, you’ll join a dynamic and innovative startup environment focused on leveraging generative AI to enhance and automate SecOps processes. In close collaboration with GenAI engineers, you’ll research and provide insights into the daily challenges, workflows, and priorities of SecOps teams while testing and improving the solutions. Your contributions will help define and design AI-driven solutions, ultimately improving how SecOps teams operate and enhancing their efficiency through automation.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and define the needs of SecOps teams by researching processes and workflows and translating SecOps needs into actionable AI development steps.
• Design the reasoning structure of AI-based solutions in collaboration with AI engineers to ensure alignment with real-world SecOps requirements.
• Provide continuous feedback on the AI system’s output, helping to refine and improve the AI’s accuracy and relevance over time.
  
  

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in blue team and defensive cybersecurity, including exposure to various cybersecurity systems (SIEM, EDR, SOAR) and domains (networking, systems, cloud).
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in key cybersecurity fields with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and systems. Familiarity with major cybersecurity solutions and vendors is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving, critical thinking, and generating innovative solutions.
• Communication and Teamwork: Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams, including GenAI engineers and other stakeholders.
• Adaptability and Self-Learning: Quick learner with a proactive approach to self-learning and an eagerness to enhance skills through hands-on experience.
• Coding Skills (Advantage): Basic knowledge of coding is a plus, as it will assist in understanding AI structures and contributing to automation initiatives.
• Curiosity in AI: Enthusiasm for AI and a keen interest in exploring its applications in cybersecurity.
