Procurement Manager with New Product Development & FDA Regulation Focus – Cosmetics Industry

Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and advancing procurement and import processes in collaboration with the company’s suppliers and shipping companies. Your central focus will be on ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of materials to the company, swiftly addressing any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and promote procurement and imports with local and international suppliers, escalating supply issues when necessary.
• Responsible for following up with suppliers regarding outstanding orders (both international and local) and highlighting any supply problems.
• Generate purchase orders.
• Review and approve purchase invoices.
• Obtain quotes from international shipping suppliers.
• Prepare documentation for international shipping and track shipments.
• Update and maintain import files.
• Process incoming import orders into inventory against received shipping documents in the warehouses.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience and understanding of import/export regulations and working with shipping companies.
• Experience in advancing procurement processes.
• Familiarity with Priority software systems.
• Proficiency in Excel at an advanced level.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
• Effective time management skills.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Very high proficiency in English.

Position Scope: 100% on site - company’s office in Tel Aviv center.
