Procurement Business Partner – Base44

Base44 is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a hands-on, highly driven procurement business partner to join our team and help scale our procurement function. In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end procurement processes- focusing heavily on technology and SaaS- while partnering closely with Legal, FP&A, and senior technical stakeholders. In your day-to-day, you will  

• Drive the full purchasing lifecycle: from initial intake and purchase order creation to vendor onboarding and renewal tracking- across SaaS, cloud, AI, brand, and professional services  
• Lead negotiations with local and international suppliers on pricing, SLA, and terms, utilizing market benchmarks and vendor comparisons to optimize spend  
• Partner closely with the Legal team to review, analyze, and negotiate commercial terms within supplier agreements  
• Work hand-in-hand with Finops,  FP&A and technical leads (Engineering, Product, IT) to evaluate vendor necessity, scope, and implementation timelines  
• Build strong vendor relationships, monitor key contracts, and proactively identify opportunities for cost savings in a fast-paced environment  

• 5+ years of procurement experience in the high-tech industry, with a proven track record in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and IT procurement  
• Strong technical orientation, with the ability to understand product specs, engage in technical discussions, and perform vendor benchmarking  
• Proven track record in commercial negotiations and contract review, working in tight collaboration with Legal teams on complex agreements  
• Experience partnering with Finance & FP&A on budget management, spend analysis, and purchasing workflows  
• Fluent English (written and spoken) for leading negotiations with global suppliers  
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field  
• Experience in procuring AI tools – an advantage
