Junior Testing Engineer - QA

This job is also open to fresh Graduates without working experience!

StarNext is looking for a passionate and eager testing Engineer to join our Agile Research & Development team in Tel-Aviv. You will be part of a local and global team, which is responsible for the software development software testing and production maintenance of our products.

Principle duties and responsibilities

Perform as an active part of software projects ALM (Application lifecycle management) , e.g. software design, software development, manual testing, unit testing, integration testing, production environment maintenance.

·        Running and creating test cases based on the requirements

·        Create, update and maintain test documentation and test plans

·        Ensuring that requirements are met for all aspects of the testing processes

·        Managing several tasks simultaneously

·        Ensuring Production environment meets all aspects of the product and technical design

Knowledge, skills and experience required

·        Experience of up to 2 years.

·        Experience in software manual QA testing (Mobile & desktop).

·        Experience with api and backend services testing tools like postman

·        Experience in writing testing documentation

·        Demonstrated ability to work as part of the existing SW team

·        Familiar with Ecommerce systems – Advantage

·        Experience with automation testing tools – Advantage

·        Familiar with Scrum / Agile working procedures – Advantage

·        Familiar with Azure DevOps platform – Advantage

·        Familiar with Http/Https protocols – Advantage

·        Familiar with Content management systems (CMS) – Advantech

·        Familiar with Travel Technology – Advantage 

·        Very good English

·        Fast learner

·        Independent

·        Good communication/interpersonal skills

Additional information

·        This role is an on-site/in-office position which does not allow employees to split their time between working on-site/in-office and off-site/out-of-office! So just to reiterate, this is not a hybrid role 😊
