Technical Manager -Disposable Medical Devices

We are looking for an excellent Technical Manager to join our Engineering team.

Job Description:

The Technical Manager of disposable products in the Engineering Team will take a hands-on approach in managing the development and optimization of disposable medical devices. This role requires deep technical expertise in disposable medical products design, engineering, and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the product lifecycle from initial concept through commercialization, including hands-on involvement in design changes, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives. The position will focus on technical problem-solving, supplier collaboration, direct engagement in product development and manufacturing activities. The position key characteristics - disposable medical devices development, lifecycle management, production process optimization, hands-on technical problem solving, cost reduction initiatives.

Direct Manager: Director of Mechanics and Engineering

Job Requirements:

• Education:

o BSc. In Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering from a well-known establishment.

• Job skills

o 6+ years of hands-on experience in disposable products development and manufacturing, particularly with sterile disposable or consumable products.

o 3+ years of experience in managing validation of sterile components including biocompatibility, sterilization, packaging and transportation validation.

o In-depth technical expertise with a strong focus on hands-on problem-solving, product improvement, and cost reduction.

o Experience collaborating with suppliers and managing technical relationships related to material selection and product components.

o Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485) and medical device product lifecycle management.

o Willingness to travel internationally as required (approximately 15% of the time)

o Experience in transferring products from development to mass production.

o Full control of all Microsoft Office applications

o SolidWorks

• Language skills: English - Excellent writing and verbal skills

• Personality: Excellent communication and leadership skills; self-motivated; independent; able to work under pressure; team player.
