Data Enrichment Team Lead

What you will be doing

• Data Strategy: Identify, assess, and leverage data sources that enrich our marketplace with new and valuable data.
• Team Leadership: Lead a talented team of data enrichment specialists, fostering a collaborative environment and driving individual growth while aligning team efforts with the marketplace's data strategy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data product managers, marketing, analysts, and engineering teams .
• Innovation and Exploration: Stay updated on emerging data sources, enrichment tools ensuring our platform remains competitive and data-rich.
• Data Quality and Process Efficiency: Work closely with the technical data team on workflows for data sourcing, cleaning, automation and enrichment, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and scalability in all enrichment efforts.

Your skills and experience

• Experience: 3+ years in data management or data analytics, with 2+ years in a leadership role focused on data enrichment, data sourcing, or data integration, ideally within a marketplace environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong background in data manipulation and integration tools, with experience in API data sourcing, third-party data platforms, and data cleansing practices.
• Marketplace Acumen: Deep understanding of how enriched data can impact user experience, buyer and seller behaviors, product recommendations, and overall marketplace growth.
• Analytical and Curious: Highly curious, with the drive to explore and evaluate diverse data sources that can inform marketplace dynamics and support strategic initiatives.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate data-driven insights and their impact on the marketplace to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, aligning efforts with the company’s mission
• Hands-on experience with SQL
