About the Role:
We seek an experienced and visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to drive revenue growth and profitability for our proprietary trading operations. The CRO will oversee revenue generation strategies, market expansion, and the optimization of trading activities across multiple asset classes. This role requires deep expertise in proprietary trading, including algorithmic strategies, risk management, and market dynamics.
As the CRO, you will work closely with the leadership team to establish revenue goals, build high-performing teams, and lead the firm toward sustained growth in a competitive market environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy that aligns with the firm’s growth objectives.
• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, including emerging trends in trading and technology.
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to establish and achieve financial targets.
• Oversee trading activities to ensure alignment with revenue goals and risk appetite.
• Monitor and analyze performance across trading desks, optimizing strategies to enhance profitability.
• Support the development of innovative trading strategies, including algorithmic and high-frequency trading.
• Stay updated on global financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making.
• Explore opportunities in new markets, asset classes, or trading technologies to diversify revenue streams.
• Build and maintain relationships with key market participants, exchanges, and industry stakeholders.
• Partner with technology teams to ensure the development and maintenance of robust trading platforms.
• Leverage data analytics, machine learning, and AI to enhance trading strategies and decision-making.
• Promote the adoption of cutting-edge tools to improve trading efficiency and scalability.
• Lead and mentor trading, sales, and operations teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in trading and revenue-focused roles.
• Encourage innovation and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
• Work closely with the risk management team to ensure trading activities align with the firm’s risk tolerance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain the highest ethical standards in trading practices.
• Develop frameworks to mitigate risks and manage market volatility effectively.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of leadership experience in proprietary trading, investment banking, or a related financial field.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving targets in trading or financial markets.
• Strong understanding of algorithmic trading, quantitative strategies, and market microstructure.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.
• In-depth knowledge of trading platforms, data analytics, and trading technologies.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with a focus on collaboration and performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Expertise in trading software, financial modelling tools, and data visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and quantitative tools is a plus.
